FINALLY IT'S OVER.

2008 is now a thing of the past.

Its a new beginning, a new year and finally a new GN$ site. Its pretty crazy out here in the world these days. Over the past few months with the whole financial meltdown and current global economic crisis happening. Only time will tell what the results of such huge mistakes made by the so-called "smartest people in the world" will be.

Its obvious parts of the system are broken and through these tough times come the struggles to find new opportunities and new resources. Our communities, meaning you me and the homies success comes from our abilities to change with the time's and evolve as fast as we can to keep up and not get left behind. Through these times everyone isn't going to make it. The hey day of indy streetwear brands and boutiques is over. Only the strongest will survive and there are only so many seats on the train so if you don't have a seat you may be left waiting for the next ride cuz this one is full.



Don't mean to scare you but its serious enough to talk about as we pass into the new year. Were thankful because the deck has always been stacked against us and we have still managed to poke our head out and stay a step ahead. The very essence of streetwear culture is overcoming the odds and doing exactly what they told us not to do. We by nature have an uncanny ability to create whats missing and fill in the gap before most even see the gap.

Stay true, always read between the lines, don't be misled and follow your dreams until death. We will overcome this, bird flu or whatever else they throw at us. Stay focused people!!
